The little girls in the photo are the three sisters my quilting service is named after. Jeanette, Louise and Joan are sisters...Jeanette was my mother. What great friends they were! My husband Tom and I live in the country. We have two grown daughters who have blessed us with grandchildren. Our oldest daughter, Kris, is a knitter. Knitting is not my cup of tea...thank goodness it is hers. She does gorgeous work and is developing her own online business where she shows her work and sells her patterns. You can visit her at My House of Wool. Our youngest daughter , Sara, designs and creates aprons for all occasions. Not Your Mothers Apron has many fun styles to choose from. Both girls are busy with their young families and their at home businesses. My sister, Sue, also has a Longarm business. We decided to each purchase our own machines because of the distance (20 miles) between our homes. We are both passionate about what we are doing and work full time with our quilting. It is a great benefit to us to be able to share ideas and techniques. Sue's business can be found at Sue Z Quilts. I am a retired ICU nurse. I enjoyed nursing immensely. Quitting my nursing position was a difficult decision to make but I felt that to develop as a quilter it needed to be done. I am enjoying the new journey I have undertaken. Tom and I work together fixing up our older home and playing with the grandchildren. It is truly a wonderful life.
